SIFT BAKEHOUSE is the creative result of Chef Christine Nordstrom’s passion for flavor and quality in her retro inspired line of artisan baked goods. Her methodology is founded on the practice of baking in small batch, from scratch, using only all-natural & quality ingredients. Sift goods are handcrafted daily at Sift’s commercial kitchen in Sarasota, Florida.
Sift Bakehouse is a Farmer’s Market Exclusive Artisanal Bakery. SIFT goods are baked at the Bakehouse and sold at a Sugar Shack; one of the market pop-up shop locations in Sarasota, Englewood, Ft. Myers, Cape Coral, Estero or Sanibel Island, Florida. Since developing a large and loyal following of SIFT groupies, Sift Bakehouse has joyfully expanded with an online shop, available to ship to customers when they are no longer in the sunny state of Florida!
Chef Christine Nordstrom has a 4-year degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales College in Providence, Rhode Island. Christine fell into her calling as a pastry chef during her time spent at Napa Valley Grill, where she discovered where her true passion and talents lie. Since then Christine has never stopped whipping up delicious handcrafted baked goods, as she continues to define the art of baking retro.
